Professor Stan Emert

Stan Emert is the director of Sports Enterprise Management at the University of Washington's Milgard School of Business. Over the course of his professional career, Emert has been involved in a number of diverse initiatives. He is the creator of RAINMAKERS.TV, a nonprofit documentary and interview TV/video series that celebrates the successes of people at all levels of the economic pyramid. He is a global business corporate social responsibility veteran, consulting for companied around the globe. He has also addressed institutions including the World Bank, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the American Film Institute, on social responsibility related topics. A former scholarship basketball player at Tusculum University, he has coached youth basketball and worked in various sports operations roles since that time. He earned his BA in History and a JD from the University of Tennessee. Upon relocation to the Pacific Northwest, Emert coached high school basketball for 20 years.
