Mary Beth Chambers

Dr. Mary Beth Chambers, Assistant Professor and Program Director for Global Sport Management Program at Pfeiffer University has had a wide array of experiences working in sports. During her career in the sports industry, Dr. Chambers has interned with the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, was the Media Center Interview Room Manager for 1996 Olympic Games, the LPGA Tourney Marketing Director, a sales executive with the Detroit Pistons & Palace Sports & Entertainment sponsorship, and the U.S. Olympic Canoe/Kayak team Marketing Director. She and her husband even started their own race team in North Carolina and worked as the sponsorship director for an ECNL hockey team in Charlotte. Her research interests include the organizational capacity of the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee and its member National Governing Bodies.
