Professor Judy Van Raalte

Professor of Psychology, Athletic Counseling Program Director
Springfield College

Dr. Judy L. Van Raalte (CMPC) is a nationally recognized Professor of Psychology who specializes in Sport Psychology and Athletic Counseling at Springfield College. She has presented her work in 18 countries, and she has published more than 100 articles. Professor Van Raalte's work has been funded by the International Tennis Federation, the NCAA, and the National Institutes of Mental Health. She is a fellow of AASP, and she has served as president of the American Psychological Association's Society of Sport. Dr. Van Raalte's research interests include Self-Talk, Professional Issues in Sport and Exercise Psychology, and Mental Warmup and Cool-down.
