Professor Brian Hofman

Professor Brian Hofman has been a part of the Ohio Northern University (ONU) athletics department for nearly thirty years. After getting his start as the women’s volleyball coach, Professor Hofman has also held positions including , Sports Center Facility Manager, Men’s Volleyball Club Coach, and Assistant Director of Athletics in addition to role on the faculty. He is the Title IX Deputy Coordinator for ONU, and Associate Professor of Sport Management in the Dicke College of Business. Professor Hofman has incredible experience in running sporting event, and he has won several national coaching awards and ONU teaching awards. He earned his PhD from Toledo, and his research interests include Support Systems for Female Coaches and the Experiences of LGBT athletes and coaches.
