Dr. Jesse Steinfeldt
Professor Steinfeldt is a Sport Psychologist and Professor at Indiana University, where he teaches a variety of graduate courses related to counseling and Sport and Performance Psychology. He also oversees IU's undergraduate Minor in Counseling, that helps students learn the basics of counseling-related communication along with a host of transferrable skills. Dr. Steinfeldt also helped create Indiana University's Doctoral Minor in Sport and Performance Psychology for Counseling Psychology graduate students. Professor Steinfeldt is the Director for the IU Sport and Performance Training Practicum (college level placements at Indiana University Athletic Department, Indiana State University Counseling Center) and the Director of the High School Sport Counseling Internship (high school level placements at Edgewood and Mooresville High Schools). 'Coach' Steinfeldt also finds time to coach as many youth sports teams as he can, putting his expertise into practice and sharing insights with students and fellow coaches alike.
