Dr. Timothy Baghurst

Dr. Timothy Baghurst is a Professor of Education and the Director of FSU COACH: Interdisciplinary Center for Athletic Coaching. In addition to earning three graduate degrees in three different countries, he received a doctorate in Kinesiology from the University of Arkansas. Dr. Baghurst also serves as the President of the National Association for Kinesiology in Higher Education.
He is an active member of the kinesiology academic community, as he has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles on top of several books. Coaching for Sports Performance is a very popular textbook written by Dr. Baghurst which is used in coaching programs across the country. The Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) America has awarded Dr. Baghurst research fellow status, along with other state and national awards including the Regents Distinguished Research Award,
