Dr. Rodney Paul

Rodney Paul
Director of the Sport Analytics Program and Professor of Sport Management
Syracuse University

Dr. Rodney Paul is a Sports Economist, a Professor of Sport Management, and the Director of the Sport Analytics Program at Syracuse University. Professor Paul's work has appeared in publications including the New York Times, ESPN the Magazine, The New York Daily News, NBC Sports, Forbes.com, and the Buffalo Sabres Gamenight. He has been interviewed by NPR about issues including TV rights to the Olympic Games, NFL labor negotiations, and the Los Angeles Dodgers’ financial difficulties. Dr. Paul has presented his work at conferences both nationally and internationally, and his work has been published in a number of journals. Professor Paul has also written numerous book chapters on sport business and economics. He is the faculty advisor for the Baseball Statistics and Sabermetrics Club at Syracuse University.
