Dr. Hal Strough

Dr. Hal Strough is the Dean at the College of Health and Wellness at Northwestern Health Sciences University. Prior to Northwestern, he was the Associate Dean of Health Care at Nova University after spending eight years at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN where he was the Founding Department Chair of the Master’s program in Athletic Training. Dr. Strough is a 30-year member of the NATA (National Athletic Trainers’ Association), as well as a member of SEATA (Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association) and ATAF (Athletic Trainers’ Association of Florida). He is certified by the BOC, Inc. (Board of Certification). He serves as an exam item writer for the BOC, Inc. He holds a PhD from Purdue University, an EdS and MS from Eastern Kentucky University, and a BS from Central Michigan University.
