Dr. Dan Larson
Dr. Dan Larson is an Associate Professor in the Health and Exercise Science Department at the University of Oklahoma. Professor Larson also teaches Sport Management at Oklahoma's Price school of Business. Professor Larson got his Master's from the University of Florida in Exercise and Sport Science before earning his PhD from the University of Georgia in Kinesiology. Prior to the University of Oklahoma. Early in his career, Dr. Larson spend time working in the world of professional cycling as both a coach and a manager. Professor Larson's research interests include economic theory in sport, policy and finance for international sport at the professional level, participant sport management, public finance for sports, and Eye-tracking/EEG analysis related to sport viewing. Dr. Larson is a key part of Oklahoma's Master's in Sports Data Analytics program, which was recognized as one of the top Sports Analytics Master's Programs by Sports Degrees Online in 2022.
