Dr. Claudia Benavides Ambs

Dr. Claudia Benavides is a Professor of Sport Management at Arkansas State University (A-State), where she is also the Sport Management Program Coordinator. Her research focuses on creating awareness surrounding sexual harassment as a world-wide societal issue, inciting cultural change in educational spaces, organizations, and the sports industry; and improving sexual harassment policies, practices, and training. She seeks to promote the wellbeing of individuals, sport management organizations, athletic departments, schools, and society at large, by contributing to knowledge production in her field and beyond. Dr. Benavides earned her PhD from Texas A&M University.
