Brian Zuleger
Dr. Brian Zuleger is a professor of sport psychology in the School of Kinesiology & Health Sciences at Adams State University. Professor Zuleger is the program coordinator for the MS in Applied Sport Psychology graduate program. Dr. Zuleger holds his PhD in Sport Psychology from the University of Missouri, where he had the chance to study under Dr. Rick McGuire. Through the Missouri Institute for Positive Coaching, Brian served as a member of a team of coaches and educators assisting Dr. McGuire with coaches' instruction and education, curriculum development, and applied sport psychology services. Dr. Zuleger was the mental performance coach for the Adams State University Cross Country and Track and Field programs from 2014-2019. He has worked with athletes and coaches in a variety of sports from youth level to the Olympic level. Professor Zuleger is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). His research interests include issues related to coaching and leadership. Originally from Freedom, WI, Zuleger played many sports growing up and was a nationally competitive 3-event water skier.
